A woman who stabbed a stranger to death outside a nightclub has been found dead in her North prison cell.
Chanel Charm NecklaceLouise Giles was 19 when she attacked 23-year-old Helen Hay with a kitchen knife in Sheffield in July 2004.
Miss Hay was in a dispute with some other women outside Flares nightclub in the city when Giles intervened, despite the fact it had nothing to do with her.
She took the knife from her handbag and stabbed Miss Hay, a football centre assistant manager, seven times in the back and chest.
Giles was jailed for life at Sheffield Crown Court in May, with a minimum tariff of 14 years. The 20-year-old was found hanging in her cell at Durham Prison at 11.34pm on Saturday.

In May, it was claimed that Giles had formed a relationship with Soham murderer Ian Huntley, and had been sending him love letters.
A Home Office spokesman said: "The death will be investigated by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
"This was a traumatic incident for the staff and other prisoners. Our thoughts go out to Louise Giles' family at this difficult time."
